allergic rhynitis

I am 42. Since decades succeptible to cold.Got prophylexis from cetrizine. This winter used mometasone nasal spray.   Got relief. But there was one bout of attack . How to get rid of it?

Hi,

You seem to be suffering from chronic sinusitis or rhinitis. What are the symptoms that you have? Are the symptoms ncreased on exposure to dust, smoke etc?

Do you have any past history of allergies or any family history of allergies?

Continue with the mometasone nasal spray you are using and you should see an allergy specialist for your symptoms. Talk to him/hher whether a course of antihistamine medications and antibiotics would be required in your case.

Till then you could try steam inhalation, saline nasal drops and some breathing exercises.
