allergic to cider and nuts

I have been drinking apple cider for past few years, but recently I discovered that the next morning after drinking it on my neck appears red dots, rash. Does it mean that I am allergic to cider? Do I need to stop drinking beer and wine as well?
By the way, what are allergy symptoms of peanuts and other nuts? I do not know if it was from nuts or something else, but my eye lids became red and swollen, but now it seems everything is fine, just sometimes after eating nuts my neck is rashed. Do I need to make food allergy test?or consult my GP?

Hello and welcome to the community.

Only about 5% of adults have true food allergies.  Food allergies usually involve difficulty breathing, swelling of the throat or tongue, etc.  Most people have food sensitivities where they can't digest the food properly.

Since you are experiencing a rash, I suggest that you talke to your doctor about aspirin sensitivity.  Aspirin sensitivity can cause uticaria (hives), severe asthma, and ulcerative cholitis.  The foods that trigger your rash are high in salicylates which is the chemical family of aspirin.
