allergy symptoms

Hi!

I just moved to Austin, TX 6 months ago, and just a few days ago starting getting some strong allergy symptoms, itchy eyes, sneezing, headache.  My ear yesterday randomly plugged up and when i stuck my finger in there was a crackling sound as well.  Also, I've had a feeling of something like water pouring on my head.  Are these also allergy related things or could it be something else?  Thanks,

Hello,
You seem to be having allergies to air borne allergens like pollens.Diagnosis can be done by skin testing or tests to confirm the allergens you are sensitive to,the test is
called RAST.
Remain indoor in windy days. You can also use dust or pollen mask and use a clothes dryer instead of hanging the wash outside,where it acts as a filter trap for pollens.
You can take some OTC antihistaminics like benadryl or zyrtec. You can also use some nasal decongestants but use them for a few days only.Corticosteroids and  bronchodilators can also be used.You can also use saline nasal sprays or steam inhalation at home.In severe cases,Immunotherapy is advised.
