allergy

I have itching in foot and palm then it swells having red patches and very painful.I cant understand it is allergy or some chronic desease is starting. Please help me out of this.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
You probably have an allergy or contact dermatitis that is causing your palms and soles itch. Tinea manum (ringworm of hand) or Tinea pedis (ringworm of foot) or scabies are other causes. Contact dermatitis could be due to anything that your hand and feet come in contact with. You must get an allergy test done, either a skin test or RAST, to know what you are allergic to. Please consult a skin specialist as it is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.
