bumps on face!

bumps on face!

Hi
I'm so very frustrated and hope for some help/suggestions. I have been to two dermatologists but have received no help( not having a flare by time of appointment!). For many years whenever I get warm e.g.: exercise, summer days, warm clothing indoors in winter, baking in my kitchen, drying my hair etc- I get small, hard bumps all over my face. They cover an area sort of like a muzzle shape: inner cheeks, around mouth and all over outer chin areas. It can take all day to slightly clear and many times a patch of these bumps remain. They are not filled-like acne. To look at me when I have a flare you might mistake it for acne. I don't have and have never had acne. I'm 40 and have excellent facial skin otherwise. I tend towards being allergic such as contact dermatitis, dust mites etc- Thank you so very much for any advice or direction!!

Hi,
Bumps over the face occurring suddenly could be due to allergic reaction to any drug or food or due to hives, rosacea or due to a boil. It is difficult to confirm the cause without physical examination. You need to make note of foods or drugs or personal care products which could have lead to the occurrence of these bumps. Rosacea manifests with flushed appearance of face, while boils are painful. Hives usually disappear on their own or with use of antihistamines.
I would recommend that you consult a allergist for further testing and confirmation of the cause for this. Best.
