can you just get the tests done without a third degree?

DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR FOOD ALLERGY TESTS? OR CAN YOU PAY TO GET THEM DONE?

just to see if you do have an allergy, i really want to take wheat/dairy allergy tests but i know the doctor is going to give me a third degree.....then i'll end up not getting the tests done cause all doctors dont like doing things unless your on your death bed!

What symptoms are you having?

You could simply discuss your problems with your physician and ask him/her if he/she can ask for an allergy test to be done.

If not ask him/her if you could be refferred to an allergy specialist, who could then ask for an allergy test to be done.
