chemical overload?

chemical overload?

I had a horrible situation today.  I started breaking out in welts at work.  I am a hairdresser and started the day washing a sinkload of color bowls.  I am somewhat allergic to these chemicals, but have altered my color selection to be less aggravating. After about five hours of work, my chest started to itch, and I thought it was hair bits.  Then I discovered welts all over my chest.  I took a benadryl, and the welts started appearing on my left inner wrist.
By the time I got home, there were welts all over both of my wrists.I took off my bra, and everywhere my bra touched was beet red and covered in welts.  I have heard that some people have had reactions to Victoria's Secret bras, but this is my first experience.  Oddly, I have been wearing this bra for days.  I am worried that my recent exposure to a latex swim cap, (I have a new latex allergy), and the haircolor exposure left my immune system vulnerable to a new spandex allergy.
Let it be known that I cannot tolerate perfumes.  I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac, but I have severe asthma, and need to avoid allergens...
Does anyone have any information that will comfort me or help me
