Hi

There is no harm in taking a bath. However you should not scrub yourself or use any soaps and lotions. After a bath you must pat yourself dry and not rub your body. Some doctors advice against a bath as there are chances of the scab coming out and leaving a scar. Also this scab is a good source of infection for others, so you need to be careful with the bath towels etc being washed immediately with antiseptic water (a few antiseptic drops added to water).
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Get well soon!
