dry nose ears breathing problems

by Kashy12, Jun 29, 2007 10:38PM
Hi,
for months now I have been having sinus problems. At first they thought I had Menieres disease and then narrowed it down to chronic sinus problem/mild deviated septum.  I 've felt severe ear pressure, severe headache, been feeling dizzy and nauseated and had chest tightness. I have severely dry nose and ears to the point where I can't breathe right and it feels like my brain doesn't get enough air and I feel lightheaded.
The MRI and two CT Scans didn't show a terrible sinus infection or any major blockage. Since January Ive been taking 6 courses of antibiotics, 2 predisolone, I've taken motion sickness pills, painkiller for the severe headache, Paxil for 2 days for the anxiety that I am getting for not being able to breathe right to the point where now I am getting severe stomache pain..probably due to all the medication.
The ENT suggested sinus surgery. I feel I have a fluid disorder of some sort that is causing the dryness in my nose/ears and chest. Could that be allergy related, because everybody that I know has the opposite effect..runny noses.
Any feedback would be helpful...Karin

Your sinus problems might be related to the air that you are breathing. I used to have problems with my air, but I didn't realize that I had a problem with it until a friend of mine told me what she was doing. It turns out that the average air in the home is up to 100 times worse than the worst outdoor air. I found out my friend had a whole house air filter that took care of her air and that her allergies weren't acting up anymore. So I did some research on it and it's helped me out quite a bit.

It's a Polarized Media Filter, which is different from the normal paper filters and works a whole lot better than the normal filters. What it does is it actually uses electricity to attract the particles to the filter, so it's much more efficient . It just goes on your furnace where all the other air goes anyway. It's pretty neat how it works. Like I said, I've done some research on it, but I don't want to run all the technical terms by you.

The best place for price that I've found is at www.airlifeone.com. And I'd look for the Electrobreeze brand, it's the same as the other product only cheaper. Another thing I've found with this company is, I've never had a problem talking with them if I've had a question.

I hope that this helps you like I found it did me.
