erythema multiforme?

by sanlore, Mar 27, 2009 06:09PM
My doctor told me today that I might have a mild case of erythema multiforme in my hands.

1- is this contagious?  Can I pass it on to someone by touching them?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
No, Erythema Multiforme is not contagious, hence you cannot pass it to someone if you touch them. You can read more about it on this link: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000851.htm
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
