i have burning sensation on my hands they also get swollen and numb after a while my arms forearms start to get cold ive gone to the dr but they say that everything looks normal.

It doesn't sound serious, burning sensation and numbness may be due to few of the reasons like injury to the nerve,Pressure on the spinal nerves,Carpal tunnel syndrome ,Diabetes,Abnormal levels of calcium, potassium, or sodium in your body or lack of vitamin B12 or other vitamin.
So would advise if it is not an injury get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones level evaluated and use some vit B12 for some days and see if the symptoms goes.
