high ige treatment

Has anyone had the Xolair injection for treating their high ige level? If so, what kind of reaction or non reaction have you had? Does anyone know about the cancer connection or potential connection to having the injections?

     Xolair (Omalizumab) is indicated for adults and adolescents with moderate to severe persistent asthma who have a positive skin test and whose symptoms are inadequately controlled with inhaled corticosteroids. The common side effects to use of this drug include body pains, fatigue, arthralgia, dizziness, pruritus, dermatitis, ear ache etc. No evidence of mutagenic activity has been observed in patient’s for one year, but there are no long term used studies conducted for this drug.
