a week ago i started getting tan in suntanbed, in two days I noticed two round spots on my face, in 3 days i found 6, 3 on one cheek, 1 on another and 2 on nose, I went to emergency and they told me start taking Zetirizine and Hydrocotosone, but it didn't help, originally these spots looked like ring worm, but doctor assured that it is not, I was at my primary doctor today she took my blood and told stop putting cream on spots, because they were getting worse, I don't feel severe itching, just sometimes it itches a bit, most of the time I feel burn...so I don't know what to do, I just started dating with a guy after divorce and I am stressed out about the whole siituation...the way how I look like was always important for me, please anybody help me , I don't know what to do...

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, welcome to the forum, your symptoms are suggestive of solar lentigo. It is usually seen in exposed areas to sun like hands, neck and back in susceptible individuals. There is proliferation of normal melanocytes (which are responsible for pigmentation in the form of freckles) secondary to solar damage. This is not hivies, but get it evaluated.

These lesions occur most commonly in whites with fair complexion. This needs to be differentiated from Postinflammatory hyperpigmentation and Melasma (in hormone pill users).  Hydroquinone cream against prescription plus sun protection can lighten existing lesions. I suggest you to consult Dermatologist. Take care and regards.

Hi Irina_2010!
Something like this happened to me 3 years ago. Except I was getting my tanning naturally. It's probably a combination of stress, yeast issue and heat rash.

De-stress! This is so important. Take time off -for now-from this stressful dating endeavor.
If this person is not understanding then he's the wrong one for a meaningful relationship.

Do EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques - free download) which is easy to do (basic eft)

Use only Selsun Blue shampoo to wash your hair and your body, warm water-not hot!

Stay away from anything with sugar and carbs for the next few days. It's a little tough but will probably make a huge difference. Stay away from heat and tanning beds!

Re-connect with Nature and your Spirit. It will give you a very calming effect.
Find a good aromatherapist to make you a lotion with soothing organic essential oils specially lavender.

If you need immediate relief/treatment read my reply to maiyamary  on Dec. 27th.
Hope this helps,
Blessings,
