Hi,
You have not mentioned for what reason these tests were run on your baby.
Immunodeficiency disorders involve malfunction of the immune system, resulting in infections that develop and recur more frequently, are more severe, and last longer than usual.
Immunodeficiency disorders impair the immune system's ability to defend the body against foreign or abnormal cells that invade or attack it (such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and cancer cells). As a result, unusual bacterial, viral, or fungal infections and rare cancers may develop.
An immunodeficiency disorder may be present at birth (congenital, or primary) or may develop later in life, often as a result of another disorder (acquired, or secondary).
Congenital immunodeficiency disorders are caused by a genetic abnormality.Undernutrition—whether of all nutrients or only one—can impair the immune system.
People with an immunodeficiency disorder tend to have one infection after another.
Children tend to develop slowly.
Gene therapy for a few congenital immunodeficiency disorders is being studied.

My son is seven and has an IGG sub class def 1 he has constant battles with sinus infections. This was not diagnosed until he was 5 years old and started kindergarten. He now is having problems with his ears. In 2005 he had tubes inserted in ears to allow drainage due to a hearing loss, (never had an ear infection) . He also underwent an adenoidectomy. The mucus that was in his sinuses created a problem for them. This past February, he failed another hearing test so tubes were put back in again. We were told that this would allow the mucus to drain properly. He still failed 1 of the hearing test so we go back again for retesting in August. Since then, he has had 1 ear infection and now is complaining of headaches and pain in right ear again.  I am monitoring and will call the doctor in the a.m. We have considered IV therapy as this is our next step. What could this be?
