Hello and hope you are doing well.

Sorry for the delay in replying. What you are seeing could be the throat congestion. Your symptoms could be due to a post nasal drip, which can cause a chronic irritation in the throat. This could be due to a sinus infection, a cold or a chronic allergy. It could be sinusitis, if it is accompanied by nasal stuffiness and facial pain or pressure. Post nasal drip could also be due to allergens. These are substances like pollen, dust, animal dander, certain foods, insect venoms and certain medications. Exposure to allergens causes a runny nose with a resultant post nasal drip where secretions from the nose go backward into the throat and irritate causing cough. Cough is a protective mechanism by the body as it helps to prevent infections. You will need to consult your primary care physician for proper clinical assessment. In the meantime for relief from your symptoms you could do warm salt gargles and take OTC antihistamines.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

thanks madam,
i have shown to almost 4 doctors and 3 doctors stated allergy or fats, but one doctors said that it is viral.
Here in africa no good doctors. I have muscle formed on the wall (back of the throator uvlua), i have no throat pain.
This problem is there more than 7 months.
Please advice it is viral i should have throat pain or muscle should spread all over the month, but i do not have any problem, expect when i sneezing my throat itches.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Sneezing and throat itchiness could indicate an allergic reaction. If it is a viral infection, viral sore throat is best treated with rest, warm oral fluids and  (OTC) tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for pain. If you develop a fever, or if there is enlargement of the tonsils with pain or if there is white coating on the tonsils, you will need to consult your primary care physician for a strep test, which if positive you will be given antibiotics.

Take plenty of warm oral fluids and lots of rest. For further relief from your symptoms you could do warm salt water gargles and stream inhalations. Please ensure to do this prior to your meals.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
