lip rash

I have a rash of tiny bumps on both sides of my mouth. My lips are extremely chapped. I've never had this reaction before but I do remember when it started to itch.  I was eating a mango and putting the whole seed in my mouth to finish off the rest of the mango flesh. I felt small prickles from the mango and the next couple of days my lips broke out. Please help!!

The corners of my lips are really itchy and they burn, it's been about 2 weeks that I've had them and now their leaving like a dark stain on my skin. I swim 2 and a half hours everyday, so I don't know if it's because of the chlorine
Please help me!!

Hi,

You could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine. Take syrup benadryl and see if it helps with your symptoms.

If not, you could go to the ER or consult your doctor - you would then need injectable antiallergic and steroid medications for your symptoms.

You have to seek medical attention for this immediately not because of your presentation, but because this could even be life threatening if it worsens.

Let us know about your past medical history and about any previous similar episodes that you have had.

You should carry an epi-pen with you for such circumstances.

Are you allergic to any specific substances?

Let us know about how you are doing and if you have any other doubts.

Keep us posted.

Regards.
