mold concerns

I have been wheezing with a minor cough for about 2 monthhs. Recently I also have been having a little bit of an issue getting a breath when I lie on my back. I decided to look in the air vent that is above my bed and found black mold. I cleared the vent, so will my symptoms clear up on their own or do I need medicine?  Thank you

Welcome to the forum.
It's great that you discovered the source of the mold.
The concern would be if you have mold  in other areas of your residence.
Mold grows in areas where the moisture levels are higher and sometimes are hidden behind walls and not visible to anyone.
My suggestion is to get a mold elimination expert to check  it for you.
The health implications can be nasty!  Please don't take a chance.
Mold is dangerous type of fungi and extremely hardy. It can survive under any type of conditions for long long time. So make sure it's eliminated from your enviroment!

Meanwhile Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is Anti-fungal, Anti-bacterial, Anti-microbial, Anti-parasitic.
Consuming this will give you  great long term health benefits. It  does not get treated as fat in the body - goes to energy- and it increases metabolism. Great heart and brain food as well! Check it out. ( I've replaced all my cooking oils with EVCO- at medium and high heat no alteration- and I also use it on toast and steamed vegetables daily) It's wonderful
Drink plenty of  filtered water, eat nutrient rich food, exercise, de-stress, rest and sleep enough and well, meditate, and your body should take care of the rest!
No need for meds.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta

Hi, welcome to the forum, your symptoms are suggestive of allergic rhinosinusitis or asthma. It is predominantly seen in young adults (20-25 yrs of age). This happens as soon one is exposed to allergen. Hay fever is related to environmental exposure to year-round, usually indoor, allergens such as dust mites, animal danders, and molds. In your case mold can be strong possibility.

You need to get evaluated clinically as well as certain tests will be help to determine the cause. Symptomatic treatment with Anti histaminic  nasal sprays and/or corticosteroids against prescription can be useful. Remember, symptoms can be controlled through medication, but you can't get rid of the allergy itself. If molds is cause, your symptoms will be relieved in short period even without medications. Close the windows when you sleep. I suggest you to consult allergy specialist. Take care and regards.
