-the paranasal sinuses are well developed and aerated, with intact body walls
-the nasal septum is midline
-the turbinates apear normal
- the rest of the included structures are unremarkable

Hello,
The report means that there is an increased soft tissue density in the left nasal cavity which may be due to nasal congestion because of mucus or a nasal polyp.The paranasal sinuses are clear and so sinusitis has been ruled out.The nasal septum is not deviated and the turbinates are not hypertrophied.Basically these are all the causes of chronic sinusitis and out of all these polyps have been verified.

Nasal polyps are teardrop-shaped, noncancerous growths on the lining of your nasal passages or sinuses. Depending on the size of polyps,treatment varies from medicines to polypectomy.

Pls get a CT /MRI nose done and get it evaluated from an ENT specialist.
