nasal palate

If there is nasal palate in the nose what can be done to get rid of it apart from an operation and is the operation a major one

I suppose that you are saying about cleft palate surgery.Cleft palate is a defect in the roof of the mouth in which there is no separation between the nose and roof of mouth.Surgery is the only answer to this and as with all surgical procedures,it is also associated with risks and after effects.But When surgery is done by a qualified plastic surgeon with experience in repairing cleft lip or palate, the results can be quite positive.

I suggest you to talk in detail with the operating surgeon so as to be relieved of any apprehensions.
