please help unknown allergy

have been really sick for the last 4 months.
it started off as peroid like pain that lasted a month then turned abdominal.
i was taken to the hospital as i was getting severe migrains and pain and vomitting. they thought it was hormonal.

i was then taken to a private hospital a few weeks later (twice)as i was still vomiting and suffering migraines and was severly dehydrated. they couldnt find anything wrong. one doctor thought out of control migraines the other abdominal migraines.

i was put on antacids anti nasea pills and celebrex

i had ultrasounds and tests and still no solution. i then started flushing red in the face almost everyday. i broke out in what i thought was acne. until it spread to my body. i then put it down to an allergy to a plant or something... as no ati hystamine was working i went to the chemist and they said it was a drug allergy to celebrex. i was given hydrocortisone cream. at first it seemed to work as the rash was slowly getting better
its been over a week and the rash keeps coming up. my lips and throat and roof of my mouth are so itchy. sometimes the rash is just red the other times its all bumpy like hives. i have been having trouble with my asthma too

i am now starting to wonder if it was a drug allergy or if it could be a food allergy?

Hi, your symptoms are suggestive of allergic dermatitis, secondary to exposure to allergen and mediated by IgE antibodies. Your body is known to hypersensitive to certain things.  Esp. the lips and roof of mouth when it comes in contact with the allergen.

Food allergy can be strong possibility in your case. Foods and additives like Milk, egg, peanuts, nuts, soy, and wheat are the most common agents to cause such dermatitis. Also allergens which should not be neglected are fragrances (perfume, cosmetics), preservatives (topical medications, cosmetics), rubber etc.

This triggering factor should be identified and should be avoided. And even a skin allergy test can be useful. You can try anti histaminics against prescription, but prevention is the best cure.

Other causes needed to be ruled out are drug reaction (allergy can be seen celebex but we cannot say for sure). If drug allergy is suspected you need to discontinue the drug and report to your doctor immediately. I suggest you to consult allergy specialist. Take care and regards.
