rash that comes and goes tightness in chest?`

hello my wife is 1 month pregnant and has been suffering a rash that comes and goes some of its itchy and red with a raised bump and some look like red lines she also has tightness in her chest and its hard for her to breath she has been taking zyrtec and it has not really been helping we went to the doctor he said it was hives but do hives come with these symptoms? cough tightness in chest a rash that comes and goes itchy throat frequent sneezing? does anyone have any idea what this could be? thanks

She could be suffering from viral fever but nothing can be said with surety without a proper clinical examination. Have you seen her OBG about her symptoms as yet?

Is she having gastroesophageal reflux too? You should try some warm saline gargles and steam inhalation and see if it helps with her symptoms.

no not yet and gastroesophageal i dont think so a viral infection? do those start out wit rashes? then sorethorat

Yes viral fever may present with rashes and sore throat and then go on to have bodyaches and fever.

How many days has this been happening yet? Hives or rashes are known to occur in pregnancy and you doctor or a dermatologist can figure that out.

its been 4 days the rashes only come for a few minutes and disapear but shes been really tired and has a sore throat sometimes

She should try warm saline gargles and steam inhalation. talk to your doctor about whether a course of antibiotics is required in her case.

Is she still taking the cetrizine?

Has she tried local application of calamine lotion at the sites of the rash?
