reaction to tooth implant

by recoverypat, May 30, 2009 08:07PM
Have you ever heard of someone reacting to either the titanium or the bovine compound used in a tooth implant? Since having mine done, I have been experiencing the back of my throat becoming inflamed and swollen. I have been told by my physician and an allergist that it is probably unlikely that this is causing my symptoms, but I would like someone else's opinion on this. I had been placed on Prednisone for a few days and the symptoms seemed to dissipate. Have you seen any reaction such as this?
