Hi,
As mentioned from the other post, flushing, nasal congestion or hives are usually observed with beer allergy or intolerance. This can be caused by alteration in the Aldehyde Dehydrogenase (ALDH) gene; food allergy such as beer components malted barley, hops and yeast; and allergy to alcohol itself.  An allergy test may help identify the specific allergen that should be avoided. It is best that you check with your doctor for proper evalaution. Take care and regards.

You may be having an allergic reaction to something in the beer or the beer itself. It may just be a small reaction such as your runny nose, but as you keep consuming the beverage, the reaction could get worse.
