i've had so much done to me over the past week and a half all but an endoscopy the barium swallow test showed nothing but a small hiatal hernia which would never cause my symptoms these clowns out here have yet to actually look at my throat at least anything cancerous or something of the sort but it feels like they're doing everythign around what they're supposed to do and it's so hard for me to get to an ENT because im only 19 and im unemployed and no one's gonna help me out so yeah you can imagine how many generous ent's are out there that would try and work with me. but yeah as afr as my condition goes i've been forcing myself to eat seeing as i figured if i was gonna choke. i'd choke lol it still feels as if there is constant phlegm in there and food sometimes gets stuck i also have an ear ache and a bad molar i wonder if this could all be linked?
Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
The symptom could be due to pharyngitis or inflammation of pharynx. OTC anti inflammatory and warm saline gargles will help. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. Hence consult your PCP once. It could also be gastric reflux causing this feeling of phlegm in the throat.
Hope this helps. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
