swellowed left sight of the tonque

swellowed left sight of the tonque

I woke u in the middle of the night ang thought that I bite myself in the tonque because it was noumme... I've checked in the mirrow and hardly could move my tonque, the let side was so swellowed that I couldn't move it.
I could hardly talk I've tried to eat some breakfast and make it move, it was hard but I've got a few bites and it felt a little better. A day or two ago I was feeling very tired and thought that I'm getting a flu but nothing really happend. That I felt a pain in my left ear that went again and was back for a little. Yesterday I felt some pain in my left jaw but I just thought that I maybe opened my mouth to wide when eating a sandwitch. After the accurance last night I took some alergy (allergy) madicine at work in the morning and the swelling started to go away but now at evening I still don't feel 100% OK. I still can't feel the left side of my tonque completely. Should I go to the emergency room or take another alergy (allergy) medication? I'm by myself with my little daughter and I wouldn't want to drag her anywhere in the cold weather if it's not urgent. Please help me

There is an order that people can get the medical help they need. Of course depending on what the problem is let's you know how the order should go. You have your family doctor, urgent care, and the emergency room. The ER costs the most so unless it is life or death, you want the other two.

I would say to go to the family doctor, but if that is not an option, get to urgent care. From what you are describing, it could be anything to an allergy to something serious. You don't want to chance it. Unless the swelling is affecting your breathing, try the family doctor, then the urgent care, then the ER. If your breathing is affected at all, get to the ER.

I am going to delete this off my watch list, so if you still would like to talk, please message me.
