I'm 18 years old and I have a hot spot on one my thighs. It's the upper part of my thigh closer to the inside. It sort of flashes on and off and has been for about a month now. What could be causing this?
The patch could be due to allergen. The other causes could be due to a fungal infection, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis and bacterial infections. Usually there is itching and some amount of inflammation with these conditions. You will need to consult your primary care physician for further evaluation.
