unusual allergy?

i went to work with my sister ,i was folding bunting (safety flags on a rope)made out of vinyl and rope.
the rope dust covered me after the day.
i had red lumps on one of my arms and my arm felt like it was on fire.
my head felt like hay fever symptoms and my nose was blocked.
i got a phlegmy throat
then a few days later i was really unwell and my face was on fire.i  had to go to the doctor.
nothing showed up in my blood test.could this be an allergic reaction?thanks

This could be an allergic reaction. But I would like to know whether this activity took place in the sun or not? Also were there any other environmental condition which might have triggered this. What I mean to say is that, this appears to be an allergic reaction and therefore, the cause should be found out.

The treatment for allergic reaction of all kinds is to basically remove the causative agent or allergen and then treat the symptoms.
