wasp bite on eyebrow

I was stung by a wasp on my eyebrow last night.  I applied ice, then mud, tea tree oil, and took Benedryl.  It started swelling immediately and nothing helped that subside.  this morning it is swollen shut and swollen down my face and across the bridge of my nose and swelling is staring in the other eye.  It is not painful.  what else can I do?

You have done everything that should help! If it becomes painful, vinegar is always a safe way to help with a bite ;) good luck!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

If the swelling is worsening, you can try more potent antihistamines. Also, anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen can help bring down the swelling. However, if you develop additional symptoms like problems with breathing or rash and itchiness all over, you will need to go to the ER, as you may need steroids and epinephrine.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
