Hello,

There are two types of allergy testing mainly. One is skin ***** tests and second is allergy testing by blood test like RAST.

In skin ***** test a small amount of allergen is introduced in the skin of the forearm and the response of the skin is observed. If there is any redness, then that person is allergic to that allergen.

The amount of IgE directed against specific allergens can be measured with a blood test. In general, it is less likely to accurately detect allergies than the skin test, and may give misleadingly falsely positive or false negative results.

I am forwarding you a link with which you can familarise yourself on the ways to prepare yourself for the allergy testing: http://www.****.***

Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep us posted if you want any more information.
