will bad sinuses cause depression

im so depressed and i have bad sinues im going to ahve a surgery......can they cause depression if they r messed up

How are you? How long have you been feeling this way? We all experience episodes of  depression one point in our lives. Factors that increase the chance of depression include the following: female sex, advanced age, lower socioeconomic status, recent stressful life experience, long-term medical condition, underlying emotional or personality disorder, substance abuse, family history of depression, especially in a close relative and lack of social support.

For your up coming surgery, it is good to discuss your condition with your doctor and have your friends and family for support during this time.
