zoonotic bacteria?

zoonotic bacteria?

My dog has chronic allergies. He has just been diagnosed via blood tests as having Pseudomanas Aeruginosa and Escherichia Coli.     #1-He is resistant to all antibiotics other than those that have to be injected and carry a possibility of kidney problems. #2-I need to know if these bacteria are able to be passed on to humans with an impaired immune systems.
Any info would be welcomed.

Thanks,
Jules

Hi,

Yes, both pseudomonas and e.coli are known to cause infections in humans and especially so in individuals with an impaired immune system.

They are known to be transmitted by droplets most commonly.

It would be best to talk to the vet doctor about this and also consult your doctor.

Do let us know if you have any doubts.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
