How do you choose an a skilled accupuncturist. Looking for a Chicago area Dr. to treat fibromyalgia, dysautonomia, ADD

Make sure they went to a four year acupuncture school.  Many chiropractors, for example, can get certified to do acupuncture in a couple of weekends.  Other than that, it's kind of word of mouth.  Good small health food stores used to keep files of practitioners their customers liked, but  I doubt there are many of those left what with Whole Foods and its imitators having taken over the market.
