Alternative Lyme Treatments?

I'm interested in alternative treatments to Lyme Disease/Bartonella Infection.

I'm a 29 year old female diagnosed with chronic Lyme and Bartonella.  I was on a course of antibiotics for 9 months straight, with little improvement, until I began a new, much more tough regimen.  I'm currently on 3 antibiotics and 1 antifungal and a bunch of supplements and most of my symptoms have gone away.  I feel significantly better, but I'm still not 100%, and I can't seem to lose weight while on antibiotics.  Plus, the  effects of long-term antibiotics scare me, but trust me, if you were in my shoes, you would do the same thing.  When I didn't have the right antibiotics I was "nuts" for better lack of terminology.  I would have crying and rage-fits, anxiety and panic attacks all day long, neurological problems, cognitive problems, I even have a lesion on the right side of my brain.

I don't think I could give up this course of antibiotics yet, but I am always looking for alternative treatments, as well.  If anyone has any knowledge of anything other than antibiotics that work for Lyme or Bartonella, please let me know.  Thanks very much, I've lost most of my hope, so I'm praying maybe I can find some in this forum.

I have found some very interesting alternatives searching under Cowden protocol, and information on the entire protocol is available for free (of course one still has to buy the tinctures).  There are other protocols out there as well.

I am currently on an abx/supplement regimen and much encouraged by the results 3 months in.   First order of business is to get rid of all the little buggers burrowed in deep, and then I will concern myself with getting my body back in balance.

I hope by now you've recovered and are enjoying life again!

Have you looked into heavy metal detox?. Every lyme patient, including myself has some level of Heavy metals. Lyme is notorious for plugging up all your detox pathways

Everybody i know that has squashed this disease has gone on a heavy metal detox..

U can check out cutler protocol or follow a less harsh way using mineral balancing and intestinal micro silica.

You can also look into ozone therapy which is a great adjunct in cleansing the body. it's all about detox at this point. you've done alot of killing.. but it will grow back if you dont' clean up your terrain.

here is a group on ozone.. lots of lymies on there too
