Alternative treatments for anal itching & burning?!

Almost every time I take a **** I have burning either just inside or around my rectum. I have tried just about every anti-itch cream even hemorrhoid cream and steroid creams. Also afterwards for hours sometimes I'll have off and on itching sensation in and around my anus! What else should I try? Or what is the treatment for internal hemmorrhoids or anal fissures? I don't want to see a specialist, so what are some other alternative treatments I can do on my own for this?

Dr. Mark Stengler  recommends a bilberry supplement.  Quoted:  "Bilberry strengthens the capillary walls, thus preventing the buildup of fluid in the blood vessels and surrounding tissues.  In addition, it promotes circulation through the blood vessels.  These actions make bilberry effective for the prevention and treatment of hemorrhoids.

Hope this helps - from "The Natural Physician's Healing Therapies".

I understand you're trying to be helpful, but topical oregano oil not only burns, but it's only useful for fungal infections.  Until this person finds out exactly what the problem is, suggesting specific remedies might harm him -- if he does have hemorrhoids, for example, oregano oil will greatly irritate them.  Oregano oil is more effective internally than externally as well.  But the important thing is, we can't suggest to people to take something specific when we don't know what they have -- we can hurt them that way.  Peace.

Try Wild Oregano Oil, apply 2 drops to the area on top of Emu Oil/ Coconut Oil or Olive oil . Oregano oil is very strong and it could burn, so you dilute it this way. Good Luck. Use it freely as needed :) I messaged you..

I tried to tell you, you don't need a specialist most likely -- your GP will be able to diagnose what you describe, which is either a rash or hemorrhoids or whatever, none of which you need to specialist for.  If you just don't like doctors, okay, don't see one, but you can't pick a specialist if you don't know what you have anymore than you can treat what you don't know you have.  I mean, the specialist for rashes and such is a dermatologist, for hemorrhoids it's something else, for STDs it's still another specialist, for urinary problems a different specialist, for colon problems still a different specialist.  That's why you go see your GP, to see what you have.  Then you can either get sent to a specialist or treat it yourself with natural medicine, but you can't do that if you don't know what you have.  And I'm out of here!

Hi, try and Search :  Edgar Cayce on Hemorroids. Its on You Tube.
They show you an exercise which I thought what is that for.. but it surely helps. Good luck..
You could also try Castor Oil that he recommends.

I know that & your answer does not help at all. I'm not going to a my GP who won't do a damn thing but send me to a specialist! If I go to anyone, I want to go straight to the type of doctor who is going to get this fixed right away! If you want to help then tell me what kind of specialist I need for this? (gastroenterologist, proctologist or who?) & what kind of tests will they likely have to do?

Just see your general practitioner.  You don't have to take any drugs they prescribe, but you can't treat what you don't know you have.  Tests don't make anything worse, they don't do anything but get you a diagnosis.  Any treatment is up to you -- once you have a diagnosis you can treat it any way you want.

I don't like going to doctors, I feel they are just going to make it worse by performing unnecessary tests and drugs! I don't know what kind of doctor I should see anyways, proctologist or gastroenterologist? & what kind of tests would they do to me for this issue?

You need to see a doctor to get a diagnosis.  Then you'll know what alternative treatments to try.  Using a hemorrhoid product if you have a fungus won't help any, will it?  Once you get a diagnosis, then post your question and we might be able to help.
