Itchy Skin with no rash, redness, or hives

Itchy Skin with no rash, redness, or hives

My legs get VERY itchy after i shower, this has never happened to me before but it's been severe for about 3 months. I use Dove bodywash, and i put lotion (target brand) on my legs whenever they feel dry so I don't think it's dry skin that's causing this. It gets so much worse after I shave my legs that I've considered not shaving them anymore. I can't wear pants for about an hour after I shower or the itching is absolutely unbearable.
Is there a specific topical treatment I could use? Lotions, bodywashes, etc? Thank you so much for your input!

Have no idea if they're implicated, but both Dove and Target brands are loaded with toxic chemicals and allergenic chemicals.  You'll find much healthier and more effective products in a health food store (and more expensive, unfortunately).  You might try a brand called Aubrey -- it's expensive but affordable, and if the itching goes away you'll know it's some chemical in the mass-produced products you're using.  Another possibility is heat itself -- kind of what happens when you run for the first time in shorts after winter's over it will often itch as the legs are unused to all that stuff in the air.  Kind of like prickly heat.  But I don't know why it would be happening now and not before.  A way to find this out is to take a cold shower and see if you still itch afterward.

The Dove bodywash, does it have a fragrance? if it does try one without  fragrance and try another brand name lotion without fragrance. don't shower with hot water try warm water
hot water dries out your skin. See if this works.
