ulcer issues

I have 2 ulcers. One in esophagus, the other in lower stomach.
I was on antibiotics for strep throat/tonsillitis...the darn things kept blowing up in my throat. This did NOT help the esophagus one little bit, as you can well imagine!
I feel like I have a golf ball stuck in my throat, and the doctor offered me some mouthwash??!!!???
I asked pharmacist and she said it was for sore throats. My throat is not sore, it feels like it has something stuck in it.DOH!!
Anyway, the tecta alone is obviously not helping. My esphagus hurts like bleep everytime I swallow. Can't even swallow my own saliva without feeling pain at this point.
Tried the usual...apple cider vinegar does not go well with this...either does oregano oil. PAIN!! lol!!
Ya ok, I'm stupid. So, the question is...what do you suggest for ulcers? Besides slicing my body open and tearing them out. lol!!
I have tried laying off milk products, soy, gluten, etc. Doesn't seem to make a difference. However, I have given up tomatoes for life now. I find they make things that much worse.

The ulcer in the stomach is different than the one in the esophagus, and the cause is probably different as well.  Current thinking in the medical community is that stomach ulcers have nothing to do with food but instead are caused by an overgrowth of heliobacter pylori.  This organism is always in the body but becomes able to establish a foothold in the digestive system when the immune system is thrown out of balance especially by a die off of beneficial organisms that are supposed to be there.  This can be caused by lots of things that throw the body out of balance, including the overuse of antibiotics.  The medical treatment is to kill the heliobacter with antibiotics; it's not easy to do sometimes.  The natural treatment would include mastic gum, manukka honey, DGL, and aloe vera juice to name some things that have been found to be toxic to heliobacter but not to beneficial organisms, but obviously isn't as strong as pharmaceutical antibiotics but lacks the harms of them.  For the throat, I would swallow some aloe vera juice and swish it around in your mouth following each time you swallow something that seems to be stuck and to suck on DGL tablets twice a day before eating (it's a form of licorice).  Avoid food that bothers you but know the food isn't causing the problem; quite the contrary, for those who can handle it in their cultures cayenne is a good ulcer remedy.  So it's more what you're used to or can handle.  The esophagus problem is usually caused by reflux, so don't lie down right after eating.  Other good remedies for coating the digestive system are slippery elm and enteric coated peppermint oil caps (not the tea).  Good luck.

Thanks for that! :)

They tested ( urea breath test ) but it came back negative for pylori.
Doctor said to avoid tomatoes like the plague, as he thinks the acid is too much...same goes with oranges.
Other than that, he said that it "could be " that my ulcers are hereditary...my entire family has had them at one time or another. My dad died when his ulcer burned a hole right through him...septicemia did him in.
Guess you really shouldn't drink when you have ulcers huh?
