Could this be Alzheimer's

Over the last 4 months my husband has been experiencing slurring of words, lack of balance, personality changes, and some difficulty in finding words but ONLY in the evenings. This can happen 4 or 5 nights a week. He is fine during the day but says he is tired all of the time.   An MRI only showed a chronic sinus infection & "insult to tissue due to chornic high blood pressure," neither of which we knew he had.  Both his grandmother and great-grandmother had Alzheimers.  We are stumped as to what this can be.

You could put this onto the Doctor Forum, for a more qualified answer, I ahve heard of a new Drug finally a Break through called' Remba' it was all over the news a few weeks backs and they are conducting test now, could be had ,they say. in 2-3 years by prescription,Put it into your search engine it gives you the infromation. Can your Husband have an Allergy, is he working with any Toxic substances that would give him the symptoms you describe, plus the tirednes,I did hear also that Toxic stuff used for furniture making can cause similar symptoms including extreme irritability .
