Is it Alzheimer's?

I'm a 51 year old man.My MRI Scan of Brain diagnosis read :

MR reveals few punctuate T2 and FLAIR hyper-intensities in bilateral centrum semiovale. These are isointense on T1 and do not show restricted diffusion on DWI, suggestive of Chronic ischemic Microangiopathc changes.
No evidence of acute infaract, hemorrhage, mass lesion, arteriovenous malformations, Chiari malformation/basal invagination or demyelination is seen.

The doctor says I have high risk of Alzheimer's in a few years.
How high is his risk? How accurate is this diagnosis?

Are you posting here because you're having symptoms of MS? If so, please tell us more. I'm wondering what doctor can predict Alzheimers, and why.

Need more info for more comments. But Alzheimers in early 50s is very rare, whereas MS is not so rare.

Best wishes,
ess

Hi PL007, welcome to the MS forum.  We don't have much experience with Alzheimer's here.  I'll ask the moderators to move your question to some other place here that has people who will be able to help .

Good luck, Lulu
