memory loss

by Territ2, Oct 19, 2009 12:18PM
My mom is 82, and in the last few months, her memory has gone downhill, very quickly. She has COPD, and refuses oxygen, although she has trouble breathing when she walks. Does anyone know if lack of oxygen to the brain could cause the memory loss and confusion?? Thanks

You would have to ask her Doctor that one, is she on meds as I do know that some have an effect on short term memory, what is she taking, ask her Doctor if the meds could be the reason, maybe her dosage, has she been upset maybe suffering from anxiety?
