Is it a hemorrhoid or should I be alerted?

Hi all,
I am male, 26 years old.
I am a bit scared by a thing that I noticed the last months.
I have a lump in the anal opening which I notice after bowel movements and when I am taking a shower.
I am almost sure it is a hemorrhoid, because it is MOVABLE, meaning that i can push it back in. I had hemorrhoids from a little child but usually I noticed them only when I had a problem (bleeding etc.)and never had them outside of the anus..But this one doesn't give any symptoms at all, it is only a lump that is a bit hard and pushing it with a finger is enough to put it back in.
The last time I noticed blood was some months ago after constipation and caused anal discomfort- I am certain it was an internal hemorrhoid busted.
I have HPV but the closest it has been to the anus was on the perineum- although I never had anal contacts.
I read that if the lump is possible to be reinserted then it is a prolapsed hemorrhoid and that anal cancer would not move in and out etc. I am also sitting a lot and I am a smoker which may worsen a hemorrhoid from what I read.
What do you think?

Cancer of the anus is almost always caused by HPV, and since you have a history of that, I suggest you see a doctor about your hemorrhoid. Most of the time it is just that a Hemorrhoid. Although people who have anal cancer are alot of times told it is a hemorrhoid first.

the lump is not hpv related (i mean it is not a wart) and i am certain about it. Actually id say it acts exactly like a prolapsed hemorrhoid.
I hesitate to go to the doc for this, because i am under the belief that it is not something important (by that i mean that if i should check this then id probably have to make the doc's place my second house).
I am more concerned in the differences between a hemorrhoid and a cancerous growth especially one that can be reinserted..

Since you have a history with HPV i think you should go see a colon rectal doctor. Tell him your concerns they can take a biopsy of the lump. It most likely is a hemmroid but i would check it out to be sure. If they wont do a biopsy ask for an hpv anal swab.

I think you need to quit smoking, get some preparation h for the hemorrhoid and quit worrying your life away. If it swells and gets painful and it bleeds tho, you may have to have them surgically removed especially if this is something you have had long term issues with.
