Are aneurysm symptoms relieved by coiling?
I was given a CT scan w/contrast because I was experiencing visual disturbances, and an unruptured brain aneurysm was revealed. After a cerebral angiogram, the coiling treatment was advised and will be scheduled soon.  Now I am wondering, since the aneurysm will still be there, albeit hopefully harmless, what would be predicted as to any symptoms it had been causing pre-discovery?

Some folks have head pain such as headaches or migraines.  Each case is different so it's hard to predict what post procedure symptoms would be.  A great secondary source of information is the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
