New research points to a genetic predisposition for aortic dissection

Since I have an aneurysm of the ascending aorta and a pulmonary aneurysm (to mention two conditions I have with my heart) I follow medical science rather closely, and found this - now you may have read it already but if not I thought I would share this. It's an interesting article.

As for me, I'm having another CT scan at Stanford in late November, and they have also had me on a zio device for two weeks to scan for a-fib. Waiting for those results, expect to hear something today or Monday.
