aneurysm

when first told i had aneurysm it was right of neck follow mri it moved aorta it was 10cc now it 40cc my question after you strokes will keep getting big and what things should and lately chest pain come go

Hi! If the aneurysm is in brain and is not causing any symptoms like headache, vomiting, dizziness, vision loss etc, then an aneurysm of this size is watched every 4-5 months or earlier if you have symptoms. If however, the aneurysm is in aorta—as I think this is what you were trying to say—then, it needs surgery, where the site of aneurysm is by-passed with help of a graft—an operation almost similar to bypass surgery for a thrombus in coronary artery. Please discuss with your cardiologist.
