concern

i just have one question. i have anxiety and i have been convinced for the last month or so that i was going to have a brain aneurysm. my question is this i have neither of these things
family history
high blood pressure
low blood pressure
asthma
atherclerosis
or any other heart or blood conditions that can affect my blood vessels
i dont smoke
drink or have sex ever( im only 17)
or take drugs
i suppose i could eat healthier and exercise more but other than that im in perfect health. is there any possiblity that i can develop an aneurysm.
i do get sensations in my head like pressure, dripping feeling, and crawling/tingling, and the occasional burning sensation. or any of these concerns. I also have numbness and weakness in my hands and feet sometimes. but i believe this is from my anxiety. if you have any suggestions please respond i could really use the reassurance.

Phoenix888,

Anyone can develop an aneruysm.  Most individuals who develop one or more aneruysms are born with the propensity to develop it.  From your description of your lifestyle you would appear to be in good shape.  If it concerns you and you have the ability to do so, check with relatives to see if they are aware if any relatives who have suffered from aneruysms.  If not your concern should be lessened.  Keep in mind that aneruysms can develop in many parts of the human system.

If you haven't done so, speak with your Primary Care Physician and start a baseline health scorecard.  It will serve you well in life.  You'll have many other anxieties in life don't let this one get in your way.  If you learn to manage this one you will do well with the rest of them.  Good luck and enjoy life - it's faster and shorter then you know!

While anything is possible, not all things are likely.  If you have no risk factors, it is extremely unlikely that you have an aneurysm.
