thoracic aneurysms
I have two questions. how can you tell if a thoracic aneurysm is growing yourself if this is possible and why do they wait to remove them from healthy young before they grow and rupture? can anyone help with this thanks

1) You can not tell by yourself.  You must have regular imaging done (e.g., echos, MRI, CT).

2) They wait until the risk of dissection/rupture is greater than the risk of surgery.
