What's the problem?

by psipsinoula, Sep 23, 2009 08:36AM
Hi i had a baby last Septeber  and 6 months ago i start to feel very tired and i was getting angry with the little thing was happening.Plus 5 months ago i found a big nodule on my thyroyd which has bto be removed now.My doctor told me that my symptoms are not from my thyroyd(fattigue,anger,tired...) because the lab tests are normal. My question is why i am getting so angry and i can't control my anger?I wasn't like that before.I have a very good supporting hasbend who's trying to help me and a very good baby.I hope after my thyroyd surgery these symptoms to go away even if is not from my thyroyd.
Any idea please help?

I would think that the thyroid has made you very tired and anxious , it is great baby is good and your husband helps you, so main thing is to relax... get it removed and I am sure you will feel better. Its only 6 months since the baby was born so its understandable to need some relaxation, have you any family around who can help you look after the baby whillst you and your DH have an evening out. When you feel angry it is best to put the baby to have a nap, and take one your self or play some music, watch TV ,phone a friend , distract your self till the anger has passed. Are you taking any meds that could be having any side effectslike this ? Good luck let us know how you are doing
