not nice to wife after sex?

Hi, I've been married for many years and my wife has always said I'm not nice to her the day after sex.  I have never acted meanly on purpose, I've always just figured maybe she is just more sensitive the day after.  Last week we were on vacation and we had sex in the morning and we got into a big fight that day, and she brought up the "mean after sex" again...  I don't know if there's something wrong with me or not.  I love my wife and I love having sex with her, I just don't know where this is coming from!  Thanks, any insight is appreciated!

If you love her and love having sex with her, it is odd that you would have a big fight right during the day after having sex in the morning.  Usually a guy is out there with a big internal smile after having sex in the morning, and with some tenderness for the woman too.  Do you think something about having sex makes you feel vulnerable to her or powerless in some way, so you pick a fight to get "one up" on that feeling?  It might be worth taking some notes (about the pattern) and discussing them with her, or with a counselor first if you would feel like some privacy in working on it.

Hi, Perhaps you need to just be more considerate. Most guys go around like a dog wagging his tail. It's interesting that you think she is more sensitive. I think she justs feels after being intimate with you she would like the feeling of being close to last longer than just in the bedroom. Hopefully you might look into this. You could start by asking her out on a date. You could make her a cup of tea or coffee afterwards? Run her a bath. Bring her flowers. All these things make people feel appreciated. Putting a little bit more romance into your relationship will amke everyone happy. Good luck
