Angina?

I am 45 year old male, non smoker, manager, have family history of angina and unexplained PE's.
I have been admitted to hospital as emergency  3 time since november. Symptoms that I am experienceing are difficulty taking deep breath, tight feeling, deep ache behind top and slightly to left of brest bone. Pain between shoulder blades, occasional pins and needled in left arm and pain in neck and thorat mainly left side. Dizziness and lack of energy. Have noticed that these started mid october and gradually went from just feeling like a bad chest (nothing loose on chest) to being very painfull. Started getting worse on exercise and lasts 20 mins or so. It then goes if sit quite. Now comes on even when sitting quiet.
Chest x ray clear, ecg show suptle st changes? first occurence blood D dimer 650, and T troponin 13? echo clear, blood pressure ok . Original treatment in hosiptal was for Pericarditis, third trip to hospital cardiologist unsure pericarditis or angina. Tried GN spray and alleviated pain .. currently being treated for pericarditis but hospital report indicates no marker for pericarditis? Really dont know what to ask my doctor,  this is getting me down. Any advise or suggestions please.

Man o man i am sorry that you are going thru this.  Common sense would tell me to tell you to ask your doc to give you a nuclear stress test if he/she thinks that you can tolerate it and as a secondary measure i would ask that they could possibly put you on a holter monitor to rule out any issues w. the electrical of your heart.  Your symptoms are kind of all over the board here and i completely understand your frustration because i would feel exactly the same if it were my body and i wasn't getting the answers i needed.  The other obvious thing to do is to get a second opinion from another heart doc in the neighboring county meaning that the chances that they and you doc would know each other would be minimal.  I mean some of your symptoms almost point to nerve issues like sciatic and then some of the symptoms point to angina definately and then other symptoms point to unstable angina.....i would not stop until i had the answers and if they do a stress test of any type on you you will be in a controlled environment where if anything popped up they would be totally prepared to handle it  I would say get proactive and don't give up until you get a definate answer......good luck and please let me know how it turns out for you....
