Feeling chest pains after quitting smoking marijuana

Quit smoking 14th of June, 2017 after feeling dizzy, almost falling until I rested for a while. Had been smoking weed since 2009. Drinking and smoking cigarettes as well but not too often with the cigs. Stopped smoking weed, cigs abd drinking all at once. Three days after, I felt angina pain and pain in my lungs. It's been almost three weeks now and I still feel pains occasionally but not as severe as before. Feeling abdominal pains as well. Getting very scared now. Never felt this way while I'd been smoking pot. Any help, advice or suggestions will be very much appreciated.

I quit after 4/20 this year and I was a heavy marijuana smoker of 3-4 times per day (mostly blunts). One morning I woke up with what I later determined was heartburn and it scared me to think I was having a heart attack so for a month I was in and out of the doctors for about a month worried I was dying or my heart was going to fail. I got very bad anxiety for a while and chest pains. I also drank pretty heavily on weekends and occasionally throughout the week. My overall symptoms of withdrawl after quitting both at the same time were chest pains, health anxiety, stress, random dizzy "spells" where I would get light headed for periods of 30 seconds at best to 20-25 minutes at worst, and tons of random pains in my lower stomach and on my sides that felt under my ribs. All of these would make me worried I was having a more serious issue such as heart failure or some version of cancer. I had an Echocardiogram done (ultrasound of the heart), EKG, chest x-rays, and blood work that all came back fine. Having those done did in ways help but then other "symptoms" would appear because your mind is not used to feeling those things if you are high all the time like I was. I have since not smoked and many, and I mean many if not all of my symptoms have dissapeared or improved tremendously. Hang in there, and don't give up, obviously I'm no doctor so if you are seriously concerned get some tests done but these symptoms seem similar to mine. Connecting with someone or reading forums like these helped me because I wasn't alone. Let me know how things go. Best of luck to you.

Reading this now because I have been having the same problems. I have been scared to say anything to anyone because I’m afraid of what the answer might be. I smoked every day for about 3-4 years. Finally quit when I started feeling chest pains. Recently, I have only smoked at parties but even that was resulting in chest pain and increased heart rate. I went  several weeks without smoking and felt fine (even much better than before). Last weekend I smoked a couple puffs of a blunt and the symptoms came right back. Obviously, I’m scared enough that I don’t think I will ever smoke again. But I’m only 21 and it’s horrifying to think that I could be causing this much damage to my body. I have definitely learned my lesson and just pray to god that I’m not in more trouble than I think.
