difference in isosorbide SA tab and ERtab
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hi,
How are you? Isosorbide mononitrate is used to prevent angina attacks or chest pain. It belongs to a group of drugs called nitrates which dilates blood vessels making it easier for the heart to pump. Isosorbide ER or extended release tabs for 24 hours while  the usual SA tab is indicated for several dosing. Talk to your doctor about this and discuss the appropriate dosage suitable for you. It is highly recommended that you take this medication as prescribed. Take care and do keep us posted.
